Bryn

Alayna has been carrying the blog load for a while now. So I thought I would put in my .02 every once in a while. There have been a couple of significant things going on. I know Alayna wrote about making it over 6 pounds by 6 (and 1/2) oz. That was a pretty big day which I didn't figure I would ever think was such a big thing. But it meant that she was/is growing and healthy. Now we are even seeing her getting longer. Everybody says her cheeks are filling out but I notice that she is filling more of the car seat (which strangly she doesn't like very much). Yesterday was a pretty cool day for me. I got to feed Kaia for the first time and it worked. She had no problems which is good. It means when Alayna wants to go do something that takes more than an hour or if she needs to get more than a couple of hours sleep Kaia can have a bottle. The last significant thing is that she is becoming more and more of a real person. She sees to be able to control her expressions more and is able to smile and react to us. When all is said and done she is still fun to hang out with even if she isn't doing anything. But especially when she is doing something funny like explosively pooping in a quiet store or stretching her neck like a turtle while other little kids look at her like there is something wrong. Anyway I am going to bed.
