Baby's first photo session

Life here continues as usual. Bryn is working, Kaia is busy with everything and I still feel like crap. Today Kaia got to hang out with Auntie Carolyn while we went for our first sonogram. We got to see for certain that there really is a baby in there:) According to the sonogram I am 12 weeks and 5 days pregnant. That means that the baby is due on September 25.

Kaia is doing great. She was so excited that she got to start back to music class today. We had a break between sessions and Kaia has been asking for music class for at least a week now. Tomorrow we have our second meeting with our new playgroup. Kaia has been going through withdrawl for regular friends. She still talks about her Newport friends and needs some regular interaction here. We have been doing things, but she rarely sees the same children.

All of Kaia's favorite activities pretty much have remained the same. We now have the basement set up so she can play down there too. We have a kitchen for her down there as well as a small train set, small picnic table and our newest addition is a Little Tikes car for her to ride/drive around the basement. The car has been a hit and now she asks to go down there and play. We also have parties in the living room. We lay out her hippo blanket and gather various stuffed animals and babies to have a party.
