Yesterday marked a BIG milestone for Kaia. We went to the pediatrician for a weigh in and in one week she went from 5 pounds and 15 1/4 ounces to 6 pounds and 6 1/2 ounces. Nobody can say that she isn't a good eater! By breaking the 6 pound mark we got the go ahead to stop waking her in the middle of the night to feed her. Now she can wake us up.

Grandma came back down last night and we hung out with her today. Once Bryn came home we all went for a Baby Gap shopping spree. The goal was to get a sweater to wear tonight at a Navy function. Needless to say, Kaia ended up with much more than a sweater. Tonight we headed out to our Navy function and Kaia was the prettiest baby there:) She was also the most mellow and just slept the whole time.

This week is marking her 3 week growth spurt. For the last couple of days she has eaten like crazy and slept non-stop. It's a rough life:)
