We can't believe we are moving so soon. A week from today the movers will be on the road to Newport. We are making stops to see family and friends in Colorado, Kansas, Iowa, Chicago and Maryland. I don't think either one of us has seen a trip tik that is so thick. The moving company came a couple of days ago to do an estimate. From looking around the house you would have no idea we are moving. This next week is going to be a busy one!

I keep forgetting to tell you about some of Kaia's new talents. In the last couple of days she has become a drool monster. According to the books she is right on track:) She is continuing to talk a lot and intentionally smile. When she wakes up and I go in to get her and smile at her she smiles right back with that adorable gummy smile. She also laughs now. I told you before that she had started sitting in her bumbo chair. She still does that, but you have to work with her to sit down because she wants to stand and bear her full weight. We are obviously holding her for balance, but she is doing the rest of the work by herself. Bryn and I aren't sure if we created a monster with teaching her to kick in the bathtub. Now she is guarenteed to get us and the counter very wet. Kaia loves the bath!

This past week we have had a number of visitors. Grandma stopped by last Friday on her way to a wedding down here with Rene and Karen. She came back on Sunday and spent the night so I could go on Monday and use a very old gift certificate to a spa here. The time to unwind and let my brain go was awesome. Grandpa also came down on Sunday and spent the night through Wednesday because he had a conference down here. He got to hang out with Kaia in the mornings before he left and even changed his first Kaia diaper:)

Then just yesterday Aunt Danja came down to babysit for the night so we could go out. We got to go to our favorite fish taco place that we can't get into with Kaia and Sara and Brandon got her brother to babysit for awhile so they came down and met us. We have gotten so spoiled with getting time out without Kaia. So any of you that want to come and visit us in Newport you are more then welcome, but we may hit you up for babysitting:)
