Sleep deprivation continues...

Since last I wrote the night time issues have continued. Last night I got a total of 3 1/2 hours sleep.

The lack of sleep impacted our Christmas as well. Christmas eve Kaia didn't sleep much at all so the following day was a little off. Bryn and I didn't get breakfast until about 1pm if that tells you anything. Although low key, we had a good holiday. Kaia got very good at ripping wrapping paper off of her presents. She got a little overwhelmed after awhile so her gifts lasted until the following day. Bryn made a great stuffed pork roast for dinner.

We have been enjoying Bryn being off of school. He starts back on the 3rd. We have had a number of lazy days and I think that we all needed them. We have gone on walks when the weather has been nice enough.

Yesterday Aunt Leigh came to town for a long weekend. Kaia was very excited! She and Kaia have been hanging out, but this afternoon the adult girls went out for a walk. We did a little shopping, played ski ball, air hockey and some other games at a local arcade and followed it all up with some ice skating. Amazingly neither one of us fell on our butts.

Once we came home Bryn had made an awesome dinner and now Kaia is doing her 10pm scream so I have to bring this to a quick close.
