Another big day!

Yesterday was another big day for Kaia. It was full of firsts. The first first was that she was finally able to army crawl forward. She has been able to spin in circles on her tummy, get on her hands and knees and push herself backwards, but going forwards had eluded her. Kaia is very smart and had found ways around her inability to go forward. She would leverage herself or use other objects to get what she wanted. The second first was that she signed "daddy" multiple times and was definitely directing it towards Bryn.

Another fun thing that Kaia has been doing is laughing and giggling. She will just keep going and going. Bryn had been waiting to be able to get her to laugh.

Kaia also has a new face or expression that she has added to her repertoire. When she is really excited (like when she is standing ALL the time) she grits her gums together, smiles, crinkles her nose and eyes and breathes really heavy in and out through her nose. It is hysterical!

Sleeping didn't work out so well last night so I am heading to bed.
