End of summer

Bryn just started back to school this week so we are trying to use all of the time we have to enjoy Newport in the summer before Bryn gets really crazed.

The weather here has been a little crazy and we have had some periods of rain that have been so heavy that you have to pull the car over if you are driving. This has given Kaia an opportunity to really understand the concept of rain. And she loves it and will sign rain any chance she gets. When I am singing and signing The Ittsy Bittsy Spider she will sign rain and wash the spider out. It is so cute.

Kaia is still obsessed with the beach. She will wake up in the morning and immediately (after saying hi mommy) beach, beach and sign swim. It is very cute, but on rainy days I have to explain to her many times why we can't go swimming today.

Kaia is also continuing to work. She had a print job last week for a baby pool company and yesterday she had a job for a baby gate company. Last week went great and she played and had fun and everyone loved her. Even better was that she did her shoot in about 5 minutes. That wasn't the situation yesterday. She was off with napping and eating, but she was fine hanging out with the other kids or the dog. Btu when I tried to had her over to the "mom" she screamed and cried. We tried a couple of different times, but it wasn't her day. That is why the hire multiple babies:)

We are amazed by everything that runs through her head. When she wakes up in the middle of the night (yes, it is still happening) she just starts talking about doggies, daddy, babies, beach, you name it and it is all running through her head.

Her word list is still growing and she is literally running around. She is her own little person with definite opinions that she makes known.
