I just got home from my first night out since we moved to Newport without Bryn or Kaia. Tonight was the Spouses club get together and I had an interview at the local Pilates studio. Kaia is sleeping in Bryn's lap right now. The teething hasn't gotten better yet. I finally got to talk to our doula in San Diego tonight for her suggestions and recommendations. After she heard about all that Kaia is going through she told me that she feels like we just have to comfort her for now and not worry about the bad habits we might be starting. The fact that she cries so violently for so long indicates that something is wrong and she is really uncomfortable. So we are going to try some chamomile and try to comfort her.

The rest of dad's visit was good. We went to the War College museum and just hung out around the house. He made it home without any problems yesterday.

Today Bryn had a long day at school. He made it home around 5pm and I headed out soon after. Kaia and I went to Books and Babies at the library. Kaia fell asleep on the way home so I went for a long walk. It worked out great for both of us. She got some good sleep and I got to move a little bit. She is getting close to rolling over from her back to her front. She pretty much gets everything over, but her head goes the other way so she doesn't make it.
